So, sitting at a train wreck in the middle of Alabama.. give or take a couple of hundred miles. Don't know if there is really an difference from one part of Alabama to the next, it all seems the same to me. Stuart will recall driving through most of it to go to an Aikido conference, and I think we probably spent some time driving through this state and others our Junior year of college while coming back from Ian's place in Florida. But other than those two times, I can't think of a time that I have wanted to go to Alabama. I mean, what is here to really see? Any ideas? I mean, burning train wreckage, but I could probably see that anywhere if I really tired.
So, planning on doing Frost Your Fanny in Shreveport on the 5th.. then a month from then I want to do the Little Rock Marathon. Having I been training? Of course not. Do I think I can do them both? Maybe. I know I'll be able to do the duathlon, but a marathon.. well.. I'll finish but my time might be pretty crappy. Who knows... it'll be fun right?
Well I need to go.. data needs to be managed and all that jazz.. I'm sure I'll get bored and need to post more later..
later

i vote for the thrift store. thrift stores are neat.
oh, joey: i saw shaun of the dead last night and was tempted to post on zombietalk, but decided i was still too much of a novice to hang with team skullfucker. one day i'll be able to hang with the zombie elite. one fateful day..
oh, dave: sorry for talking to joey and not to you. this is me talking to you.
that tickles me.
dave i will buy you a cookie when you return if you go into the thrift store with a mullet and bad 80's clothes. you may meet some very nice people there and become life long friends
dave: there is nothing to do in alabama. however, i do like pretending to be a mentally ill homeless person and saying "ala... ala... alabamama alabama" over and over again until i throw up.
lacy: do not few team skullfucker. we are a gentle, welcoming group (unless you are a zombie, and then that would only end in tears).
Dave, you should take the company vehicle and drive it in the mud. This is what people do in the South. Also, maybe you should used guns to kill small animals. You could also find some black people and make sure they're being marginalized. I can't think of anything else to do in Alabama.
If I could make it to the Thrift Store I would... but I don't really have the time. I've driven the rental car through mud... we don't have any company vehicles here so I guess that is the best I can do. Haven't seen any minorities what so ever.. which is really odd if you ask me. Sort of a strange town.. nowhere to eat, and I can't sleep worth a damn in the day.. not used to night shift. Stupid work.
Hope everyone is doing well with everything.

dave...ask yourself if you really do find it weird that you don't see any minorities.....Weird...or just the product of decades, nay centuries of southern ideology?
...there are no minorities in the south?
hmm.. that could be the case Niki.. though I did assume to see some in the labor jobs.. but even the workers were product of probably decades of a very specific trailer breeding program.
trained not to be seen
NINJAMINORITY!
