So yesterday I rode my bike to work. I know, big deal right? But that is roughly 20 minutes my car didn't run yesterday. Imagine if you well a world where once a week everyone who could reasonably ride a bike instead of drive did it. Wouldn't that be fantastic? Of course there are tons of people that commute 30 miles or more, but I think there are a significant number of people that could feasibly ride a bike into work. While riding this morning and getting passed by tons of cars I noticed that almost all of them only contained one person. Huge SUVs carrying one individual. Lovely German sports cars which get 15 mpg only carrying one stuck up individual. I don't know, maybe if people saw this from a bike rather than their leather trimmed interior that something might change. Or maybe it is just the exhaust fumes scrambling my brains.
Anyways, I rode my bike into work again today. And I'm going to try to do it all next week too.. I might not succeed, I may wake up one morning and think, "holy crap it is colder than a witches teet out there.." and jump in my car only to realize the heat probably won't be effective until I'm parking at work. But still.. I'm going to try. And perhaps every day I'm in the office I'll try to ride in. The bosses don't seem to care if I'm a few minutes late if I'm on my bike, not that they care if I'm not riding, but that isn't the point. I feel better knowing I didn't drive my car into work. I feel more awake in the mornings and can actually get work done in the first hour (yet I'm blogging now - it is like work.) And I just feel better about myself... go figure.

Yes!
So, since you have four bikes, is that "four less cars"? :P
Also, if we're saying that one bike is equivalent to a car and if I have two bikes and one partially assembled vintage bike and old rusty bike wheels outside my apartment... does that make me a redneck?
Goddamnit.
4 bikes = 8 wheels
1 trailer truck = 18 wheels
9 bikes = 18 wheels
1 CONVOY = awesome song
trailer trucks are superior to bikes in all degrees
I highly doubt that that is true. Though I'm sure a truck wouldn't even be slowed by a very large number of bikes. Though bikes pollute less.
