Drafting

Today have been a fantastic day. I rode my bike like crazy around Galveston. Still searching for the hot girls, I have come to believe that they don't exist here in Texas, or at least in this part. People I've meet at Hendrix prove that hot women come from Texas, but I've yet to find any. When I was coming back into town I got behind this car, and drafted it through most of the city. People were totally staring when I was kicking ass down the street. At one point a couple in a car passed and motioned for me to follow them.. I almost did, but they ended up turning almost immediately. Nearing the end of the road there was a stop sign, and I out sprinted the car too it. I don't think they knew we were racing, but I still kicked their ass.

At another point there was an RV.. but they weren't in the correct lane for me to draft, but I could have probably reached around 40 or so behind that thing. I think I was holding over 30 behind the car.. it was awesome. The other bikers around there don't seem to be doing it for anything but fun, while I guess I'm a little bit more hardcore. I wish I had the tiphoon here, I could really tear it up, doubt anyone around here has seen a tri-bike let alone the best one ever.

Work is going to be stupid tonight. Probably just going to watch some movies, play some Evil Genius at some point, surf the web. I still have trouble believe that I get paid for this. Such as easy job, it is just staying awake for 13 hours and not really leaving a room. It is more mental than anything else. All you have to do is believe that you can finish.

My friend Sean ran in a half-marathon and kicked some serious ass. You should go check out his page to see how he did. I think I heard his time, but he got 2nd in his age group and 22nd overall. Go Sean. Congrats.

Ok, I'm going to bust a move on outta here. Going to go listen to some music or call people or something.

Later

Somebody leaked my standings in that race? Bastards. Oh, yeah, Scott Eason was there too. I think he finished quite well. He finished before Erik (though he wasn't pushing a stroller...)

On girls: Better to fail while daring greatly than to know neither victory nor defeat, right?
