Blah.

That is pretty much how things are going right now. It is spitting outside.. not enough rain for it to be really considered rain, but enough tthat it annoys that crap out of you when you have to go outside for whatever reason.

I'm still in Illinois at the moment.. working. Nothing has changed what so ever. Just every few days something new comes up which is annoying and stupid that we now have to do. For example... on Monday we might be told one thing to do.. let us call it task A. Task A is completely new and unique usually so we have to change how we do things to incorporate Task A into our routine, be it order more equipment, or in some cases ship back now non-used equipment, or whatever it is.. we have to change how things are done. So tuesday comes and goes.. people are working diligently on Task A thinking.. "hey we are rocking now.. the end is in sight.." and you know what happens wednesday morning? Something about Task A is dangerous.. something has changed. We now have to implement Task B to correct those things done in Task A. So Task B begins.. more equipment needs to be ordered, set up, calibrated, new samples need to be taken. But the funny thing is is that Task A sometimes continues to happen. Then after Task B has finished fixing what Task A screwed up, and Task A is finished.. it all happens again. This sort of thing happens multiple times a week.. nothing serious usually but sometimes as in the case of the last few days there i s some stuff that really throws a wrench in everything and one finds themselves scrambling around trying to get everything organized. It is frustrating in that nothing ever gets done.

Anyways, I should be going back to Little Rock this weekend. I'm excited about that. Don't know what I'm going to do in the office.. sit around probably. But it will be a change of scenery and I really need that. I have enjoyed the fact that Upper Limits is close by and I've been climbing like a freak up here or something. I've gotten significantly better these past 6 weeks and really enjoy the climbing.

So that is what is going on.. maybe I'll be able to ride my bike some and that'll help get me out of this funk.

Later
